Your Assets, Operated 24/7

End-to-end PowerOps coverage for wind, solar, hydro, BESS, and grid infrastructure, staffed control rooms, real-time SCADA, flexibility dispatch, and regulatory compliance, delivered as a managed service.

24/7 PowerOps-as-a-Service delivers end-to-end operational coverage for energy assets of any type or scale. Volue’s dual-site, ISO-certified operations centers provide continuous monitoring, commercial and technical oversight, and market-ready flexibility dispatch, covering every major asset type and regulatory scenario.

From a single wind farm to a complex multi-asset portfolio spanning hydro, solar, BESS, and grid infrastructure, Volue handles the operations so you can focus on growing your business. Our expert teams act as your in-house control room, available every hour of every day, with no competing interests.

Six Layers. Total Coverage.

Modular services activated by asset type, regulatory obligation, and market participation — mix and match to fit your portfolio.

Control Room Services

Two geographically separate, ISO-certified control rooms staffed 24/7. Both commercial and technical monitoring covered; incidents acted on, not just logged. Conflict-free: we operate your assets only.

Asset Monitoring & SCADA Control

Live fleet visibility via SCADA with IEC-104 connectivity to Park Power Controllers. Covers production, grid status, and equipment health in real time. Required prerequisite for Flexibility Control (VAC).

Flexibility Dispatch & Reserve Markets

The Volue Asset Controller (VAC) automates response to day-ahead curtailment and frequency reserve calls (mFRR, aFRR & FCR). EMS computes imbalances, submits bids, and optimizes for SIDC, SDAC, and TSO balancing markets.

Hydro Power Operations

Full operational coverage for hydroelectric assets with native reserve market participation (mFRR, aFRR & FCR). Mandatory for VJV/SJV Type C & D plants (≥10 MW); applicable for Type B under DSO rules.

Regulatory Compliance & Relevant Operator

Designed to support grid code and operator compliance across European markets for medium- and high-voltage plants. Includes proven implementations in the Nordics covering NC-ER connectivity and VJV/SJV obligations for Type C & D plants, with secure primary or backup communication for regulated sites.

Power Grid & Field Communications

Operational coverage for grid infrastructure, substations, and connected assets — including Field Communication Networks (FCN) for secure remote monitoring, control, and reliable compliance reporting across distributed sites.

Control Room Services

Two geographically separate, ISO-certified control rooms staffed 24/7. Both commercial and technical monitoring covered; incidents acted on, not just logged. Conflict-free: we operate your assets only.

Immediate Market Response

Staffed control rooms act on flexibility calls, curtailment orders, and reserve activations in real time, reducing imbalance exposure and maximizing short-term revenue.

Any Asset, Any Portfolio

Wind, solar, hydro, BESS, and grid infrastructure under one operational roof. Single site or multi-asset portfolio; Volue scales to fit.

No Conflicts of Interest

We operate your assets only. No shared dispatch queues, no competing priorities. Your portfolio gets our full attention.

Compliance Without the Overhead

We take care of regulatory obligations (NC‑ER, VJV/SJV, operator requirements), removing complexity and risk, while resilient dual‑site operations keep your assets continuously monitored.

Focus on What You Do Best

Shift operational complexity off your desk. While Volue runs 24/7 monitoring and control, your team stays focused on value‑driving work; trading, contracts, and production planning.

USE CASES

24/7 SCADA monitoring, automated curtailment, and VAC-driven flexibility dispatch across day-ahead, intraday, and balancing markets — so asset management teams can focus on growth, not the control room

VAC connects battery assets directly to mFRR, aFRR,  and DA flexibility markets, with EMS optimization sizing and timing bids for maximum revenue. SCADA monitoring is activated first as a prerequisite

Native mFRR, aFRR and FCR participation without VAC, covering cascade scheduling and reserve obligations. Mandatory for VJV/SJV Type C & D plants; fully applicable for Type B under DSO rules.

Dedicated grid monitoring, field communication networks, and full NC-ER compliance for obligated and critical sites — with the same infrastructure available as primary or backup TSO connectivity.

EMS automatically crafts and submits reserve bids from real-time asset data, reduces imbalance exposure, and produces financial reporting — giving aggregators a fully integrated operational and commercial stack.
