As energy systems become more data-driven, more volatile, and more complex, Volue continues to invest in leadership that combines deep industry expertise with a clear focus on customer impact. The expanded leadership team follows the recent appointment of Stephan Sieber as Chief Executive Officer and reflects Volue’s ambition to help customers unlock the full business value of electrification.

Completing the Leadership Team to Drive Customer Value and Scale

To support the next phase of Volue’s development, the company has strengthened its executive team across marketing, product, and business leadership, ensuring the capabilities required to serve customers globally while continuing to scale the business.

Natasha Adams joins Volue as Chief Marketing Officer, leading efforts to accelerate customer adoption in the electrification era. A globally recognised expert in brand transformation and revenue growth, Adams brings a business-first mindset and a passion for measurable impact.

Eduardo Lazzarotto has been appointed Chief Product Officer, bringing extensive global experience in product management and engineering across the energy sector. He will lead Volue’s product strategy as the company accelerates innovation for an AI-driven future.

A Holistic Leadership Structure Built Around Energy Asset Operations

Volue’s mission is to power those who power the world by enabling energy companies to operate and manage their assets in the most efficient and effective way. At the heart of this mission lies a conviction that coping with accelerating electrification, increasing demand volatility, and the transition to renewables requires a holistic approach to asset operations and optimisation.

Energy systems are shaped by long-lived physical assets that are already in operation, while facing unprecedented dynamics on both the demand side and the supply side. On the demand side, electrification, industrial and residential energy supply shifts, and the growing digital economy are driving higher volatility and new load patterns. On the supply side, the energy transition and the continued shift in cost curves toward renewables are fundamentally changing how energy is generated and managed.

Volue believes that mastering this complexity requires tightly integrated capabilities across commercial operations, technical operations, and a strong intelligence layer powered by data, forecasting, and automation.

Reflecting this conviction, Volue has structured its leadership and operating model around three business units:

  • Commercial Operations, covering trading, optimisation, and planning, supporting customers in managing market exposure and maximising asset value in increasingly volatile markets.
  • Technical Operations, focused on distribution and asset operations, enabling safe, reliable, and efficient operation of grid, storage and generation infrastructure.
  • Operations Intelligence, providing the data, forecasting, and intelligence layer that underpins automation, prediction, and optimisation across the entire energy value chain.

Experienced Industry Leaders at the Helm of Each Business Unit

Each business unit is led by a recognised industry leader with deep domain expertise and a strong track record of execution.

Helmut Spindler, founder and former CEO of PowerBot, will lead Commercial Operations as General Manager for Trading and Optimisation. Helmut joined Volue through the acquisition of PowerBot in 2024 and brings decades of experience in energy trading and asset optimisation. He has acted as General Manager of Energy Software with Volue since June 2025.

Daniela Haldy-Sellmann will lead Technical Operations as General Manager for Distribution and Asset Operations. She joins Volue from SAP, where she led SAP’s global Energy & Natural Resources Industries, and is known for her strategic vision in digital transformation within energy and utilities, a strong change advocate, and driver for adoption of new technologies.

Emilio Marisei will lead Operations Intelligence as General Manager for Data and Forecasting. He joins Volue with more than two decades of executive and global change leadership experience in digital transformation and energy transition technology.

The three business units and their leaders create a tightly integrated operating model that allows Volue to support customers across commercial decision-making, technical execution, and intelligent optimisation.

Together with the broader leadership team, these appointments complete Volue’s executive setup at a moment when customers require trusted partners to navigate rapid change across markets, technologies, and operating models.

CEO Statement

Commenting on the appointments and the leadership structure, Stephan Sieber, CEO of Volue, said:

“The acceleration of electrification and the adoption of AI are creating new opportunities for our customers, and attracting the right leadership is critical to helping Volue realise this potential. These new hires, alongside the introduction of three separate business units, will significantly strengthen Volue’s expertise and capacity at a time when the energy system is evolving rapidly.

“By welcoming these leaders, we are reinforcing our commitment to putting customers at the centre of the energy transition. Their vision and experience will help our customers unlock the full business value of electrification, manage their assets with confidence, and successfully navigate the changes ahead.”
